In Flight Entertainment
System
Overview
This project explores the design of a streamlined yet feature-rich user interface for an in-flight entertainment (IFE) monitor. Focused on clarity, accessibility, and ease of use, the interface includes core functionalities such as language selection, a real-time flight tracker, guest service access, and a media center for movie viewing. The design emphasizes a balance between minimalism and utility, ensuring passengers of all backgrounds can navigate the system effortlessly. The outcome is a high-fidelity prototype showcasing key interactions and screen flows, highlighting thoughtful UI/UX decisions tailored to the unique constraints of in-flight environments.

Final Thoughts
Designing for an in-flight context challenged me to think critically about user needs in a constrained, distraction-heavy environment. Prioritizing simplicity without sacrificing functionality pushed me to make intentional design decisions, especially around navigation and accessibility. This project reinforced the importance of designing with empathy and clarity, and it deepened my interest in creating intuitive interfaces for specialized settings.
